Flood Insurance

Our local weather is changing.  A RECENT TORNADO IN MOUNT LAUREL, NJ IS EVIDENCE.  On Monday July 8th the White House basement flooded proving that almost no structure is immune. https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/451977-white-house-basement-floods-during-dc-rainstorm.  If your home is on a concrete slab or you have a finished basement or valuables in your basement you may want to consider flood insurance.  The storms this year are more powerful than ever.  Significant rainfall in consolidated areas is creating flash flood water damage to homes that are not in flood zones and never suffered from flood damage in the past.  Obtaining flood insurance protection is not necessarily expensive if your home is not in a flood zone.  Homeowner insurance does not cover losses and damage in the case of flood water.  If you are concerned about the changing weather and would like to protect your home in the event of flood damage please do not hesitate to contact us.

  • Rain fall is up 50% this year in New Jersey
  • Flooding is the No. 1 natural disaster in the United States.
  • The average flood claim in 2018 was $42,000, and total flood insurance claims averaged more than $3.5 billion per year.
